* Without timetable conflicts, the maximum of course selection is 4 English-taught courses with Chinese Language Study.
* Group Discount: A 10% discount on the academic course tuition fee is available for groups of three or more applicants applying for either the Standard Package or the Chinese Language and Culture Package. All group members must select the same package to be eligible. For further details, please feel free to contact us at nccuiss@nccu.edu.tw.
* Group Discount Application Method: To apply for the group discount, please designate one representative to submit the completed Group Registration List via email before any group member completes their individual online application. This will allow us to correctly apply the discounted tuition fee for all members of the group.

National Chengchi University (NCCU) is excited to welcome participants to ISS 2025. However, we wish to inform applicants from Mainland China (PRC passport holders) of an important update regarding entry permit requirements. 政大誠摯歡迎大家加入 2025 年國際暑期課程 (ISS)。然而，基於入臺證政策，我們希望提醒來自中國大陸（持有中國護照）的學員關於入境要求的相關規定。
1. Updated Government Regulation	According to recent updates from the Immigration Agency (移民署), individuals entering Taiwan for "short-term professional exchange (短期專業交流)" purposes—such as students participating in the NCCU ISS program—must declare a daily schedule during their stay. The schedule must align directly with the stated purpose of the trip. Non-compliance may result in the rejection of the entry permit application. 根據移民署最新規定，以「短期專業交流」為目的申請來臺的人士（參與 ISS 的學員即屬於此範疇），申請時必須提交每日行程表（此部分會由政大代為提交）。行程內容須與此次來臺的主要目的相符，如包含無關行程，可能影響入臺證的申請結果。
2. NCCU ISS Schedule Requirements	To comply with the regulations: Your NCCU ISS timetable must be consecutive and will determine the permitted duration of your stay. For example, if you register for courses from Session 1 to Session 3 (July 1 to July 29): Your schedule will cover June 30 (orientation day) to July 29 (last class of Session 3). Your permitted stay in Taiwan will be from June 29 (arrival) to July 30 (departure). Due to these restrictions, students who do not enroll in the full program may be unable to attend the closing ceremony. Transcripts and certificates of completion will be mailed to affected students after the program ends. To simplify the entry permit process and ensure a smooth experience, NCCU strongly recommends that participants arrange courses for the full 6-week duration of the program. 為符合相關規定：您的 NCCU ISS 排課時程必須連續，且您的排課時間將決定您在台停留的許可期限。例如，若您報名參加第 1 至第 3 週期課程（7 月 1 日至 7 月 29 日；Academic 1/2+3/4+5/6）：您的課程時間將涵蓋 6 月 30 日（開幕式）至 7 月 29 日（第三週期的最後一天上課）。您在台灣的停留許可時間則為 6 月 29 日（入境日）至 7 月 30 日（離境日）。因此，未六週全程參加課程的學生可能無法出席結業典禮。對於這部分學員，我們將在課程結束後，郵寄成績單及結業證書給您。為確保入臺證辦理結果以及最佳化您來政大的學習體驗，我們建議參加的學員選修為期 6 週的完整課程。
3. Discounted Package for PRC Passport Holders	NCCU ISS 2025 is offering an exclusive package to support students from Mainland China. This package includes: Four academic courses (for 6 weeks) Administrative fees A one-day excursion Accommodation fees Total Package Cost: USD 3,200 ※Application Deadline: May 11, 2025 (in accordance with the Entry Permit application schedule) 我們理解配合入臺證規定的選課方式可能與您原先的預算不符，因此國際夏日學院為來自中國大陸的學生提供六週優惠方案，此方案包括：四趟學術課程（為期六週，可參與全程及結業式，取得結業證書）一趟一日遊行程 iHouse宿舍六週住宿費用報名行政費總費用：3,200 美元（原價 3,520 美元） ※申請截止日期：2025年5月11日（因應入臺證申請作業時程）

Payment Methods

Terms & Conditions

Please make the payment no later than May 31, 2025 in US dollars (USD) to the bank account of National Chengchi University.
Please provide the receipt of the bank wire to nccuiss@nccu.edu.tw
If NCCU cancels the program, NCCU shall announce no later than May 23, 2025. And the payment shall be refunded in full.
If applicants request a cancellation for the program later than the deadline noted according to the refund policy, no refund will be provided.
At the end of the 2025 Summer Program, each student will receive a participation certificate and a transcript indicating the course title, class hours, and grade (based on a 100-point scale).

Refund Policies

The registration fee is excepted, which is non-refundable once applicants successfully submit their documents. Each type of fee has different deadlines in terms of cancellation, please check the refund policy for further details. All cancellation forms must be submitted to the OIC before or on the deadlines.

Planned excursions will not be refunded if students do not attend.

2025 Refund Policies and Deadlines

Refund Applicaiton Form

1. Qualifications	Eligible applicants must meet the following criteria: Current enrollment: Be an international student currently enrolled in a university-level institution. Interest: Demonstrate a strong interest in studying at the NCCU International Summer School (ISS). Passion for storytelling: Have talent in photography, videography, or filmmaking, coupled with enthusiasm for documenting daily life and travel experiences. Selection process: Submit a personal statement, CV, and portfolio, which will be carefully reviewed by the NCCU ISS Team. Commitment: Successfully complete the video mission during NCCU ISS 2025.
2. Scholarship Quota	Two scholarships are available for the 2025 program.
3. Scholarship Coverage	Full tuition waiver for any courses taken in NCCU ISS 2025. Upon successful completion of the video mission, the awardee will also receive reimbursement for accommodation and excursion fees. This means awardees will receive a total scholarship covering 92% of program costs.
4. Mission Requirement	Produce a video (minimum of 8 minutes) that documents your journey during NCCU ISS 2025 and your experiences in Taiwan. Your video must include: Highlights of your daily life at NCCU and interactions with fellow students. Cultural exploration, such as excursions or activities showcasing Taiwan’s traditions, food, or landmarks. Personal reflections on your learning experiences and time in the program.
5. Key Dates	Application period: December 25, 2024 – March 15, 2025 Result announcement: March 24, 2025
6. Application Process	Submit the following documents via email to nccuiss@nccu.edu.tw: CV Personal statement: Explain your interest in filmmaking, storytelling, and the NCCU ISS program. Portfolio: Include past work showcasing your skills in video editing, filmmaking, or other relevant projects. Highlight anything that demonstrates your capability to complete the mission.
